Microscope service
We service all types and brands of microscopes, including but not limited to Compound microscopes, Phase contrast microscopes, Polarizing light microscopes, Stereo microscopes, Tool makers microscopes, Comparators, Video microscopes, and Fiber optic lighting. Service work can be performed on-site or at our Minnesota facility. Our microscopy service includes the following inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Cleaning all optics
- Verify alignment of all light paths
- Verify all mechanical movements perform according to factory specifications
- Dismantle focusing mechanism, clean and apply new lubricant where applicable
- Check and adjust friction of focusing mechanism for correct operation
- Adjust limits on focusing stage where applicable
- Verify performance of condenser lens
- Verify performance of aperture diaphragm and lubricate where applicable
- Verify correct operation of illumination sources and transformer
